Performance

The Sentra is the smaller and more affordable option. It carries the same powertrain across its three trim levels. This is a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine that generates 149 horsepower. The Altima, on the other hand, is available in seven trim levels. The lower trims for the 2020 model year have a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that generates 188 horsepower. The top trims come with a 2.0-liter Compression Turbo four-cylinder engine. With this powertrain in your Altima, you can take advantage of 248 horsepower.

Appearance

From end to end, the Sentra shows off its sporty side while maintaining a contemporary edge. The Altima is equally appealing, and its larger size creates long lean lines. Both of these models have a U-shaped grille with a chrome finish. At different trim levels, they have a power sunroof, remote entry, heated side mirrors, and LED lighting. The Sentra is available with 16-inch to 18-inch wheels, and the Altima’s wheel sizes range between 16 and 19 inches.

Features

Across the three Sentra trim levels, you will find premium cloth or leatherette seats, up to an 8-inch color display monitor, NissanConnect, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, hands-free Bluetooth tech and other equipment that you will love using each time you head down the road in your new car.
