 What's New for the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek®?
The Pathfinder has been a coveted SUV in the Nissan lineup for several decades, and its appeal grows in the 2023 model year. This midsize crossover, which debuted its fourth generation last year, has recently been revamped from end to end. Going into the 2023 model year, the exciting improvements introduced with the debut of the fourth generation are enhanced with the launch of a new trim level. The Pathfinder Rock Creek will be the fourth of five trim levels, and it delivers boosted capabilities and features.
Like the other 2023 Pathfinder trim levels, the Rock Creek comes with a V6, 3.5-liter gas engine. Paired with a nine-speed auto transmission, it delivers 284 horsepower. With premium fuel, this is the only trim level that can enjoy an improvement of 11 horsepower. In addition, this is the only trim level that comes with standard all-wheel drive, all-terrain tires, and an off-road suspension system with a lift.
The 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek has a few other standout traits. For example, the exterior is designed with 18-inch wheels, LED foglights, a special grille, and a tubular roof rack. Inside, the Rock Creek trim features simulated leather seats with cloth inserts.
The Rock Creek also shares many features with the Pathfinder SL. For example, it has a power liftgate, a 6,000-pound towing capacity with a tow prep kit, and a surround-view camera. It also gives you heated front and rear seats, a 13-speaker Bose sound system, wireless smartphone charging, an integrated navigation system, a 9-inch central display screen with touch functionality, sunshades in the second row, and more.
